Sophie performed a virtual tribute concert in honor of her cousin and “soul twin,” Nathan Gordon, as the kickoff event for Nathan’s Project on May 23, 2021. People tuned in from all over the world to watch the concert live and it has over 1000 views on the Nathan’s Project Org YouTube Channel!

As Nathan’s Project is not currently able to receive donations directly or to disburse funds, for the kickoff event, we partnered with two amazing mission-aligned organizations dedicated to providing music and performing opportunities and education to children and teens with varying needs, abilities and access: JCompany Youth Theatre and Songs for Kids Foundation.

Supporters of Nathan’s Project donated over $36,000 (!!!) combined to JCompany Youth Theatre and Songs for Kids Foundation as part of the Nathan’s Project kickoff! This tremendous community response created huge momentum for Nathan’s Project and allowed us to have an immediate impact in spreading the joy that come through music and performing!
